On July 20, 2024, an insightful orientation program was held for the parents and students of grades 9 and 10 on the topic, “Influence of Social Media on Students.” The session was led by Mr. Sudeep Paul, the esteemed Director of Sandesha, who provided an in-depth analysis of the impacts—both positive and negative—of social media on today's youth.

The program commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Mrs. Preethi K, who set the tone for the event, highlighting the relevance of the topic in the current digital age. The session was skillfully compered by Aldrisha, who ensured the smooth flow of the program.

PTA Vice President, Mr. Ajay Terence Cardoza, graced the event with his presence. In his address, he expressed his appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the school management, Principal, and staff in fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for the students.

The Principal took the opportunity to extend heartfelt appreciation to the parents for their unwavering support throughout the academic year, emphasizing the importance of a strong partnership between the school and home in the holistic development of the students.

Following the insightful session by Mr. Sudeep Paul, an open platform was provided for discussion. This allowed parents, students, and staff to engage in meaningful dialogue about the challenges and opportunities presented by social media, as well as to explore potential strategies for its responsible use.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Shalma, who acknowledged the contributions of all those involved in making the program a success.

The orientation program was a valuable experience for all attendees, offering practical insights and fostering a collaborative approach toward enhancing the academic and personal growth of the students.
