The program commenced with a melodious and soulful prayer song in Hindi, "Itni Shakti Hume in Dena Data." The students’ rendition of the prayer created an atmosphere of peace and harmony, setting the tone for the event.
2. Welcome Speech:
Following the prayer, the audience was warmly welcomed by a student representative. The welcome speech emphasized the significance of Hindi Diwas and the role Hindi plays in bringing the country together. The speaker expressed gratitude to the principal, teachers, and students for their presence and participation in the celebration.
3. Importance of the Day:
The highlight of the event was the explanation of the importance of Hindi Diwas. And the historic day on September 14, 1949, when Hindi was adopted as the official language of India and Rosanne Ferrao spoke about the rich heritage of Hindi and its role in uniting the diverse cultures of India. The speech instilled a sense of pride in the students for their national language and encouraged them to promote its use.
4. Vote of Thanks:
As the event drew to a close, a heartfelt vote of thanks was delivered by Trisha Rai.
