The Gandhi Jayanti celebration took place on October 2, 2024, at 8:30 AM in the school premises. The event began with a solemn invocation that set a reflective tone, invoking the values and principles that Mahatma Gandhi stood for. This was followed by a brief presentation on the significance of the day, highlighting Gandhi's contributions to India's freedom struggle, his unwavering commitment to non-violence and truth, as well as a tribute to Lal Bahadur Shastri, whose birth anniversary also falls on this day. The presentation emphasized Shastri's role as India's second Prime Minister and his famous slogan, "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan," which underscored the importance of soldiers and farmers in building a strong nation.

To honor the Father of the Nation, students offered flowers to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi, paying their respects. The atmosphere was filled with reverence as the school community reflected on the ideals of simplicity, unity, and peace.

The Principal then addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of Gandhi's teachings in today's world. The speech also highlighted Lal Bahadur Shastri's contributions to India, particularly during his tenure as Prime Minister, and his dedication to the values of humility, simplicity, and service to the nation. Students were encouraged to adopt the values of truth, non-violence, and selflessness in their lives, drawing inspiration from both leaders.

Following the speech, the vote of thanks was delivered, expressing gratitude to all those who made the event a success. The program concluded with the singing of the national anthem, a reminder of the unity and pride that Gandhi and Shastri envisioned for India.

After the formal program, students participated in a cleanliness drive, reflecting Gandhi's belief that "cleanliness is next to godliness." They enthusiastically cleaned the classrooms and the school yard, ensuring that the environment around them was neat and tidy.

As a token of appreciation, all the students were given sweets and soft drinks, adding a touch of celebration to the event. The Gandhi Jayanti celebration was a meaningful and inspiring occasion that reminded everyone of the timeless values of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
