On October 22, 2024, the students of grades 3 to 5 embarked on a much-anticipated picnic to Pilikula Nisargadhama, the Science Center, and Manasa Amusement Park, located on the outskirts of Mangaluru. This educational and recreational outing was designed to provide students with a blend of learning experiences and enjoyable moments, fostering curiosity and strengthening bonds with their peers.

Journey and Arrival

The journey began early in the morning with the students brimming with excitement as they boarded the buses from school. They arrived at Pilikula Nisargadhama, welcomed by the lush greenery and tranquil environment of the eco-education and tourism destination.

Exploration at the Science Center

The first stop was the Pilikula Regional Science Center. Here, students explored various interactive exhibits that demonstrated scientific principles and phenomena. Highlights included displays on space, renewable energy, and physics experiments, which kept the students engaged and stimulated their curiosity. The hands-on exhibits provided them with an opportunity to understand scientific concepts in a practical and interactive manner. Visit to the Pilikula Biological Park

After the Science Center, the students visited the Pilikula Biological Park, which houses a wide variety of flora and fauna native to the region. Fun at Manasa Amusement Park

The day concluded with a visit to Manasa Amusement Park, where students enjoyed several rides under the supervision of teachers.
