It's not what's under the tree that matters but who is gathered around it.

The Tiny Tots of Nazareth School celebrated Christmas with a festive spirit on 20th December 2022, Tuesday at the school premises. Not only a single day but the entire week was packed with fun-filled and educative activities related to the theme of Christmas. To explore the creativity of the kids various activities were conducted within and outside the classrooms. The little kids created masterpieces under the guidance of their respective teachers. The highlight was the Christmas tree, greeting cards, stars and crib decoration activity which was enjoyed the most by the tiny tots.

The most awaited event was the Christmas celebration. The event started at 9:00 am as the special guest Rev. Fr. Dancy Sunil Martis OFM Cap, our respected principal Rev .Sr. Marceline Dsouza with grand arrival. The programme started with Welcome dance followed by a skit depicting the important events related to the birth of Jesus Christ. The little kids gave a wonderful presentation, all dressed up in the get up mother Mary, Joseph, Angel Gabriel, Innkeeper and the three wise men. The angels' joyous dance, Christmas and Carols took the audience to another world. But the cutest of all were their youngest kids, beautifully dressed in the get up of Christmas Santa Claus’ cap. They looked super adorable while performing on the song. The entire play was in trespassed by Carols, action song and dances by the children of Pre-Primary and Primary Wing together.

In the end, the dearest of all Santa Claus made a grand entry, dancing on the beat of jingle bells. The biggest delight was that he brought tiny tots with tiny bicycles, an amount of chocolates with him for the little munchkins and distributed it among the kids to bring smiles on their lovely faces. The entire event was well appreciated by the Chief Guest. He exclaimed that the Nazareth Kindergarten Super-kids were outstanding and they hold a special place in his heart.

The senior and junior wing of Nazarenes also celebrated Christmas with zeal. The special assembly began with singing a carol. This was followed by talks and poems on Christmas by some of the students. Then a wonderful dance portraying the birth of Jesus Christ was performed and this was followed by a choir. The celebration ended with ‘Silent Night holy Night’.

Christmas is a time to give and forgive, taught by the lord himself.
We must practice this lesson throughout our lives to make the earth a better place.
Merry Christmas to all!
