The 77th Independence Day was celebrated in our school on 15th August with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and balloons to commemorate the day. All the students,teachers and parents gathered in the school premises at 8.30a.m.at the entrance of the school gate a grand welcome was given to the chief guest along with Nazareth Convent Sisters, PTA members and school faculty with school band.

All the students were standing in proper lining of the ground, as Niharika welcomed the gathering. After that, a parade was organized which was led by Scouts and Guides. After the parade was over. The chief guest Mr.Alwyn Vijay kumar Amanna unfurled the flag together at around 8:45 am .As soon as the flag was hosted, everyone sang the national anthem. After that, different types of programs were presented by the students. The students K Sindhoora Holla, Deepa D and Taiesha gave an in-depth speech in English,Kannada and Hindi on significance of the day. This was followed by a prize distribution for various competitions conducted on the occasion of Independence Day.Our Correspondent Rev.Sr.Alphonsa Celine gave a very motivational and patriotic speech.The Principal Rev.Sr.Marceline Dsouza honored Blue house for their performance in March past and drill. The Vice President Mr.Terrance Ajay Cardoza and the Secretary Mrs.Ashika Thakur were present for the entire programme. Ishan Sachin Shetty proposed the vote of thanks. Thansi and Vamsh Rai anchored the whole programme systematically. At the end, the program was ended by distributing the sweets to all the students, parents and teachers.
