Onam, a unique festival of Kerala was celebrated by the our students of Nazareth school Balmatta on 28 August 2023 during assembly. The festival is celebrated for 10 days in Kerala. The Onam celebration was inaugurated by Rev. Sr. Marceline Dsouza the Principal, by lighting the lamp at 8.30 am. The teachers and students made a beautiful Pookalam on the stage. Ishani Avinash from grade 5B welcomed the gathering and she spoke about Onam. Principal, addressing the gathering, wished all the students of Kerala and others a Happy Onam. She said that the festival like Onam unites everyone and develops fraternity. In the morning the students performed dance. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
