The school reopened on 1st of June 2023 after a rather longish two months summer vacation. The school campus burst into life and the vibrancy of the spirit and the enthusiasm of the students and teachers completely transformed the sedateness and solitude of the functions, fun and frolic of the season.

As usual the school reopening was marked by formal function at Nazareth School Assembly Point at around 8.30 a.m. where Rev. Sr. Alphonsa Celine, FSM, the Superior and the Correspondent of Nazareth School was invited as the Chief Guest. The function began with the school song by the students with the school band to welcome the dignitaries, newly joined staff and students.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with a prayer song by School Choir. In order to earnestly seek the divine blessings of God Almighty verses from the Holy Books were read. The student representatives delivered prayer for various intentions. The welcome speech was efficiently proposed by Khatheeja Ridha of grade X. The Chief Guest of the program Rev. Sr. Alphonsa Celine, FSM, the Correspondent, Rev. Sr. Marceline D’Souza, FSM, Principal of the Nazareth School, Balmatta, along with PTA Vice President Mr. Terrance Ajay Kumar Cardoza and the Secretary Mrs. Ashika Thakur, other dignitaries on the dais inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp.

The Chief Guest set the stage for a new academic session with encouraging and inspirational speech. Rev. Sr. Marceline D’Souza, the school Principal gave a concluding speech highlighting on new resolutions coupled with some of the common feedbacks by the teaching fraternity. Being the first day of the new academic session, the audience listened to the speeches and events with rapt attention and with a renewed hope and enthusiasm. The programme was convened by Priyona Ashel Fernandes of grade X. The programme came to an end with a National Anthem.
